The educational portal "Planetarium" is one of the activities of the "Planet of Talents" foundation. It was created for people engaged in the field of cultural education who need access to advanced modern knowledge.
This web-portal contains all the things our members of Jury strive to teach during the round-table discussions and workshops. While it`s not always easy to get all the information on the meetings, the video otherwise enables you to comprehend and re-comprehend it as much as necessary. There`s no need to rush taking notes after the speaker, just put it on pause or turn it over.
the portal address several goals:
- actual information only. We choose the themes for the courses not just because they seemed interesting to us, but because they addressed particular draw-backs the Juries noticed during the performance on the contests. After the events we ask them to emphasize the most often cases and make a short summary;
- we serve it short and effective. Nowadays we don`t ever have time to listen to long lectures for several hours in hope to get the question answered. That is why we divided wide themes into small particular topics. The problem is reflected in the title, so it is easy to navigate. After each video there are brief notes to remind you the main outcomes;
- emphasis on the practical side. There are plenty of the sources where you can find the theory of the folk vocal or piano music, the methods, student books, fundamental lectures. But when you need a recipe to solve a problem you faced, it`s not often easy to find. That is why our speakers talk on the most effective exercise to help in training;
- we look for unique information. All our speakers have both practical and theoretical experience, but what is of the same importance is that they all are experienced teachers. Pedagogy has it`s specifics, and we always keep it in mind working on the videos.
- we use effective visuals. Have you ever noticed that sometimes while watching videos it`s getting harder to concentrate? You get distracted, starting to pay attention to something of no importance.
